C.L.A.S.S. has been invited by MADE-BY for the first time to present its Eco-Materials library at industry Community Event to be held in Amsterdam on April 17, 2012. The event will be a knowledge-sharing and networking moment with specific attention given to cotton options colour management and the presentation of the MADE-BY Guide to Textile Wet Processing.
The C.L.A.S.S. eco-library is unique in its scope and the vast number of fabrics, yarns, production and finishing processes in its catalogue and is divided into three main categories:
NATURALS & ORGANICS (textiles made from wool, silk, cashmere, cotton, linen, bamboo, hemp, etc.)
REPURPOSED & RECYCLED (fabrics containing recycled polyester, recycled polyamide, recycled cashmere, recycled denim, textiles with a second life and more)
INNOVATIVE RENEWABLES (including new biopolymers, paper, milk protein, soy, seaweed, regenerated cellulosics)
“The C.L.A.S.S. Eco-Materials library continues to be a unique reference point for the industry as it grows and expands into new materials and processes,” says Giusy Bettoni, C.L.A.S.S. Founder & CEO. “We are happy that our unique expertise in the field, and our partner brand products found in the library, have been recognised and included in MADE- BY’s Community Event.”
The Community Event will also feature guest speakers from Solidaridad and DyStar in the afternoon. A networking drinks reception will follow in the evening for partner brands.
